A huge step forward over the original Westward game, Westward II is a truly polished, complete RTS, with a fun theme and excellent graphics and sound.
Unlike the first game, this is a well-rounded, modern-looking RTS and there is less in the way of adventure storyline to get in the way of the strategy action.
As always with RTS games, you'll be gathering resources and building things, managing the food supply and keeping an eye on the water level.
Various buildings need to be unlocked by completing different missions. Once you build advanced buildings, you'll be able to trade a surplus of one resource for another.
Hire guns, do missions for non-player characters and advance the story. Every level sets you a challenge you must complete to progress. There's a LOT of game here!
