For those of you who have played Puzzle Quest, this game will seem like a step backwards. For everybody else, it will be a smash.
You play a typical RPG-style character, low in power, but high in ambition. Take on a quest and off you go to war.
Using Match 3 gameplay, you battle monsters, obtain money and use it to buy bigger and better weapons, armour and magic items.
Battle consists of a head-to-head Match 3 duel, each side taking turns, with the winner victorious and the loser worm food. The computer AI is very strong and you'll not lack for a challenge here.
Like other matching games, four of a kind gives you a bonus. In this case, you get an extra turn on your go. Devastating chains of attacks result if you can continue to find matches of four or more symbols.
