Mall-A-Palooza is a nicely presented, challenging Tycoon game that's not too hard for younger players to grasp, yet not a pushover either.

You are given the challenge of taking new commercial developments and turning them into thriving shopping malls. Each one is larger than the last and you'll be competing against both a time limit and 'unowned' stores.

Empty units must be developed by clicking on them and building a store type. A star rating out of ten for each store depends on the level of upgrades, the quality of the employee and whether it's next to a similar store or mall upgrade, such as a potted plant.

Your daily income depends on the number of stores you own and their star ratings. Keep improving your mall to earn more cash and attract more customers.

Meanwhile, you'll need to keep an eye on the litter level (installing bins and hiring janitors sorts that out) and hire engineers when stores "break down".

The challenge for each level is displayed at bottom right and as you achieve elements of it, they turn green, making it easy to see what you have to do to progress.
