Hidden Object games seldom have so much atmosphere and suspense as Lost in the City. For maximum effect, drink lots of coffee and play after midnight with the lights off!
You've been kidnapped and, when you wake up, realize that everything you know is wrong. You must find out the fate of your best girl and more importantly, escape from the nightmare situation you find yourself in.
This game is unusual in that you have to escape from each screen before you can play the next one. Often this involves finding hidden items and combining them with fixed objects in the room to get past a locked door, failed power supply or similar hazard.
There's perhaps too much reading to do in Lost in the City. Do not skim through this: take the time to read everything, because it's all very well done and adds a lot to the story.
There were plenty of opportunities to use audio and visuals, which I feel would be totally appropriate here. Apart from that, this game stays true to its scenario and scares the heck out of you. "Casual gaming"? This is anything but! Take the 1hr trial from BigFish Games and prepare for horror movies to become much more real!
