Koi Solitaire isn't your typical solitaire; the storyline is vivid and interesting and has charming characters. It's a good change from the usual basic card game.

Jessica is lover of flowers and all things green, so she opens up a garden center using very special playing cards as the tools of her trade.

The basic level has a neat-shaped piece of ground for you to put down cards that have an increasing or decreasing value next to one another.

The suits don't matter in this game.

As soon as you've made a match, the patch of ground becomes a gorgeous, fertile landscape. Once your entire plot has become green and beautiful, you've won the level.

The cards come on a sort of conveyor belt; if any fall, it awakens your sleeping cat and the level is over. You get some fun Jokers, mini-games and power-ups that make the game even nicer.

Koi Solitaire is an endearing card game. While the replay value is not great, it's good while it lasts.
