What do you get when you cross HOGs with Match 3? Jewel Quest Mysteries 2! This exclusive-to-GameHouse title is a fun crossover that will appeal more to hidden object fans.
In case the title didn't give it away, you'll be searching for jewels in this game. Each level has them hidden amongst the usual rubble and debris of a HOG scene, in addition to the items you have to find. Some of the items will be used later to unearth pieces of tablet -- the tablets form Match 3 boards.

When you have found all the objects over two or three levels, the Match 3 game begins. Here you must match every square on the board once to progress. This starts easy, but gets more and more tricky, as the tablets get odd-shaped.
Mini-games are limited, but very interesting. You travel by plane, boat or aircraft and must find hidden items in the passing landscape -- quite tricky and a lot more fun than it sounds.
The biggest disappointment with Jewel Quest Mysteries 2 is the re-use, multiple times, of the same locations. I soon grew tired of seeing the Taj Mahal, again, even though each time the objects you must find had changed.
Still, this is a solid game and enjoyable. You can get the full game FREE from GameHouse, just by opening a trial Fun Ticket account. Great deal!
