A fantastic new adventure game from the people behind Wandering Willows, Great Adventures in Lost Mountains is a smash!

The story concerns the father of the female protagonist, who has been kidnapped by an agent for withholding a valuable invention.

You arrive at a snowed-in mountain hotel. Anybody who remembers The Shining will be disappointed: while it's a little creepy, just 'cos. But there's no ghosts here, just loads of puzzles to solve and things to find.

You have objectives to meet at each stage. Usually these involve finding a missing item or two, combining them to solve a problem (like a locked door) and then it's on to the next problem.

Because you play a couple, you can separate the man and woman. Some of the puzzles can only be solved by one of the couple; small spaces must be squeezed into by the girl, who is also a computer whiz, while the guy is scientific and stronger.

A very cute dog runs around and can be made to give you hints -- just collect three bones per hint!

Great Adventures in Lost Mountains is a huge, fun game with a lot to recommend it. This type of game is so rare that you should make the most of the few which come along. A grown-up game that will be enjoyable by anybody aged 10 and up. Highly recommended!
