There are plots in your garden where you can plant flowers. Each flower will need watering at least once per day -- sometimes multiple times. Soon they will begin to bloom. Harvest your blooms, but don't let the storage area fill up or you won't be able to pick more.

Your garden in The Fifth Gate is under regular attack from pests. Swat them by clicking rapidly with the mouse cursor over them. Later, you'll be able to plant an attractor plant which freezes the bugs and lets you get them easily. Each flower has three levels, the top level being worth the most and the most prized for more expensive potions.

Yes, potions! Once a day is over, you may mix potions using your flowers, or sell excess blooms for cash. Money is used to buy new plants, refill your water or upgrade things in your garden, like a bigger storage area or a fountain that gives you free water. Unlock each gem in the gate to move onto a new garden.
