If the idea of running a theme park appeals, you may need to look beyond Funpark Beach Blast to find a better game. This is dull and won't hold your attention unless you're a masochist.

+ Unusually fashioned anime-style graphics and candy colors

– Tedious gameplay that has too little variety
– A bimbo of a game which is all looks and no substance






You play a roller-skating blonde who runs theme park rides.

Your job is to let people in through the turnstile, seat them, strap them in and then start the rides.

You have the chance to earn chain bonuses by seating guests of a color on the same seats as that color.

Drag a group to the ride and then move the mouse to rotate the guests until the match is made.

Sometimes kids undo their seat belts and you have to refasten them. That's about as exciting as this game gets.

Each ride is locked until you have completed ten levels of the previous one. Unfortunately that means you'll be playing level after level against the same backdrop.

Extra cars and cotton candy machines can't make up for this lack of variety.

I can't help feeling that Funpark Beach Blast was a broken concept before it began. The theme has potential, but it's been poorly executed.
