I've enjoyed HOGs before, but Flux Family Secrets: Rabbit Hole is probably one of the best. This game has it all: great writing, superb graphics and probably the best music score of any casual game, ever.

A few years ago, you'd have had to pay $40 for a boxed game of this quality, but now you can download it on a free trial nd buy the full game for a fraction of that. Amazing.

If you've played the previous Flux Family Secret title, then you'll know what the story's about: a crazy grandpa and a kooky time machine that's always going wrong. Helping grandpa fix his machine is just the beginning, as you'll be going back in time to solve more mysteries before long!

The plot unravels at just the right pace. You'll soon learn that American history itself is under threat -- helping Abe Lincoln is all in a day's work. Solving problems almost never happens in just one location. You'll need to move back and forth from room to room, assembling torn or broken objects and replacing them where they belong.

Every few minutes, you'll have to tackle a HOG scene. Completing it will give you an item you'll need later. Mini-games are less frequent, but very well done.

Hints are scaled. The first time you ask, a general clue is revealed, but clicking again gives you more detail. Regular "where is something" hints recharge after use and reveal one object in a scene.

The Rabbit Hole is truly a masterpiece of HOG design. Give it a try today -- you won't regret it!
