If you're looking for a great Match 3 game, you'll need to look somewhere else. But El Dorado Quest isn't bad, if you can overlook the poor graphics.
Recover the lost treasure of the ancient Aztecs by matching three or more symbols! Unlikely, I know. In fact, you have to help two Indiana Jones-style adventurers (whom I suspect are dating) to retrieve pieces of amulets. The matching style is click on one and swap to an adjacent square. Match each square once to progress.
Everything you've seen elsewhere is here: glass tiles, opening pathways, using keys to open locks... El Dorado Quest is not very original. Nor will the graphics overwhelm you: they're way too small. The music is quite nicely done, but is off theme (sitar music for an Aztec theme?).
If you're desperate for a big challenge -- and it is -- then El Dorado Quest might fit the bill. But you should try the FREE 1hr trial from Big Fish Games before you buy.
