While it's not really a tycoon game, Dream Cars is a get rich kind of game and you get to upgrade your chop shop. In truth, it's a fairly average time management arcade game with tycoon and driving elements.

You're racin' chicks who want to trick out your racin' machine. Unfortunately you're broke. So you open a custom car shop and make money from the regular folk who want a dream car, then use it to customize your own racer.

Each level sets you a target of earning a set amount of cash. Sometimes you'll be forced to upgrade your workshop, parking lot or reception area to progress. Upgrades include robots to build and paint cars for you and sales spaces in the lot, so you can buy used cars and sell them on for a profit.

Every few levels, you get to race your car against three computer opponents. This is a lame straight-line race, with some obstacles between you and glory. You can also pick up bonus cash during each race. A test drive mini-game is a similar idea, only lower speed with a customer at the wheel.

Dream Cars is an interesting idea for a game. It doesn't quite hit the redline for me: it needed a better race section and a receptionist who can hold more than one item at a time.
