Baby dragons? Is there anything cuter than a baby, even a dragon? Dragon Hatchery, for the Apple Mac only, gives you a good reason to create loads of dragonlets.

Part one of the game is the Hatchery itself, a match 3 game. You have to drop colored eggs into the rows like Tetris. Make a match either horizontally or vertically of three or more eggs of the same color and they vanish, dropping the rest of the eggs above them downwards. If they go on to make a match, you get a combo bonus.

Match enough eggs of a color and you get a baby dragon of that color. Survive long enough and the Hatchery level finishes and you are taken to the Nursery. This is a time management game. Create little straw nests, place the dragonlets into them as they come down the chute. Now you must meet their needs as quickly as possible, feeding, watering, bathing and changing the nests. When they're happy, they become adult and fly the coop.

Dragon Hatchery isn't a bad game. It lacks enough hook to keep older players coming back time and time again, but kids will love it. A good game for parents to play with younger children.
