Brainiversity
Rating out of five:
★★★
+ Tons of graphs to chart your progress in every area
+ A place to practice when you've completed the daily test
+ Can earn Stamp achievements
– Feels a bit like school

Forget what the skeptics say... video games ARE good for you! Of course, some are better than others. Brainiversity is a good way to kill some time while simultaneously doing some good for your brain.
Many brain games may be geared for a younger audience, but Brainiversity has a more basic and adult look than most. For those of you who want a serious format while exercising their cranium, the bland style should be welcomed.
But if you prefer your mental exercises to look flashy and be fun, you might get bored with the routine mini-games. You can also play Fractions Games at Dr. Mike's free math games for games.
Brainiversity has a Daily Exam, where only one of the scores will count daily. You get tested in four chance quizzes comprising four categories; Language, Memory, Math and Analysis. You'll find tasks like spelling as many words as you can from some random letters, memorizing amounts and colors from several shapes, and answering questions from a math grid.
Brainiversity makes you feel like you've done a mental workout. But like most workouts, you have to get excited enough to do it for it to be effective.
