Want to actually fight your way to the top of Bookworm Adventures and win a spelling victory as well? Here, a really cute RPG meets a spelling game.

The main objective is pretty straightforward; if you've played Boggle or other similar word games, you'll catch on quickly. You have to spell words on a random grid; they don't have to touch.

If you take your time and come up with, say, complimentary words from the hero, Lex, your enemies/opponents will remain peaceful. They attack you when you've made your first aggressive move.

When you're happy with your word submission, you hit the Attack button and watch one or several of your enemies' hearts have a heart attack, depending on how strong your word was. Then hold on tight; it's the bad guy's turn to take a shot. Lex has limited hearts, which increases as you fill your bar with experience points and go up levels.

All this leads to a final battle called a Boss Battle. If you're successful, you're awarded a special treasure that helps you out in the following chapters.Bookworm Adentures is a perfect blend of difficulty, creativity, and cuteness. It's a flashier, more energetic than Scrabble, but you still have to use your brains to get through.
