This is a BRAVE game! How easy it would have been for the creators of the Bejeweled 2 hit game to tack on a few extras and release a boring sequel.
Instead, Bejeweled Twist is a leap forward, with amazing sound and graphics and totally NEW gameplay.
You control a 2x2 circle cursor which covers four gems. Clicking twists all the gems inside the square around 90 degrees -- hopefully matching up three or more of a color!
This simple gameplay alteration makes for much more complex planning and thought. You ARE allowed to move without making a match, so you can plan several moves ahead. Brilliant!
There's a chain meter for multiple matches in a row which awards huge bonuses if you can keep it going. Reach 10x multiplier and you get a Fruit gem.
Match four gems of the same colour and you get a Flame gem which explodes, wiping out a big area, when you match it. Five in a row gives you a Lightning gem. This blazes up and down the screen, wiping out loads of gems.
