Be Richer game

Would you like to Be Richer? Then real estate is the most common way to turn one Dollar into two Dollars (or minus 30 Dollars, if you timed it wrong a couple of years back). This game lets you experience it without the highs and lows (or excitement) of putting your own cash on the line.

You play a developer and must hit targets in each town. Usually you have to make a certain amount of cash, but along the way you'll be asked to improve each town. To do this, you must add civic buildings, or bring up the standard of the neighborhood.

The least interesting part of all this is the actual building. You simply click and a crew will be assigned to your project. A few moments later, the house is built, upgraded or demolished depending on what state the site was in before. So the game is simply a series of commands and wait times.

There are other challenges. Sometimes your tenants need to be kept happy by adding new features to their area, and you can earn bonus cash if you build commercial property, but the overriding feeling this game left me with was "So what?"
