If you're a true lover of Match 3 games, then you will adore this one. It could be more streamlined and simplistic, but you get a ton of game here.

A couple of distractions, like the occasional hidden object puzzle and a Leprechaun-themed bonus round(?!) stand between you and the puzzle action.

You have to collect a target amount of gold from each level. Guess how? By matching three of course! There are powers available by matching larger blocks of symbols, but the real fun comes from the spells, which are recharged by matching symbols and can be used to clear colors and grant extra cash.

Alchemist's Apprentice is just too clever for its own good. Don't take your eye off the gold -- it's very easy to forget that money talks and all the other stuff is just extra.

It's incredibly good-looking, but like a pretty girl who knows how lovely she is, Alchemist's Apprentice might be too high-maintenance for people seeking a simple distraction. Get it FREE from GameHouse and make up your own mind!
