Alabama Smith may sound like a failed country singer, but the game delivers a pretty darned decent HOG. It's quite easy to pick up, and you can win trophies in it as well.

Alabama Smith has the talent of going back in time to different locations to try and solve present-day mysteries. In this version, Mr. Smith has to travel to Macchu Picchu in Peru to stop a very bad man from misusing ancient relics to conquer and control the world.

What more mundane start to the game is the school Alabama works in to collect the necessary objects he'll need for his quest.

As you travel in Peru, you sometimes use the inventory items to solve puzzles like color patterns and brick shifts. If the mini-games are too difficult, you can opt to skip them, which is useful.

All in all, Alabama Smith: Quest of Fate is a charming adventure/HOG game. It's loads of fun to go back in time and work on a modern day mystery.
